Ever wondered how to use a scythe?

Basically, you hold the blade just above the ground and just start swinging it in an arc. It's all in just twisting your torso and holding on to the scythe and that's really about it. It's an incredibly efficient way to mow a lawn. You don't get much forward velocity, but you're mowing a much larger area at once, and spending no electricity or fuel to do it. For farms it's extra handy because you can just pick up the mowed grass with a hay fork and feed it to your animals.
